SAFETY ABOVE EVERYTHING ELSE!

On March 14, special tactical training exercises were conducted at Snezhnoye field dubbed “Actions of Nord Imperial's and engaged emergency response teams for elimination of possible emergency situation caused by oil spillage from 2000 m3 tank into the environment”. 37 people took place in the training: workers of emergency response teams of our company, representative of Tomsk regional center of emergency response operations, representatives of the Chief Directorate of the EMERCOM of Russia in Tomsk region. The idea of training was to let each of them demonstrate their skills and abilities, to practice the algorithm of joint actions in case of unexpected destruction of the tank and the following massive spillage of oil. The “scenario” even included an “injured” person, poisoned by oil products. More than 20 special vehicle units were engaged: excavators, bulldozers, fire-fighting trucks, cranes, oil gathering equipment, wide array of PPE.

Employees of the EMERCOM of Russia in Tomsk region highly appreciated the state of readiness of our teams ensuring production environmental and industrial safety of our production facilities, labor protection and staff health at the field. As told by Valery Danilov, the Head of Civil Protection, Emergency Situations and Fire Safety Department of LLC “Nord Imperial”, such full-fledged training sessions are held 2-3 times per year at each of the fields. Apart from that, scheduled and unscheduled Civil Protection, Emergency Situation and Fire Safety trainings are also held at each of the fields.
