The Governor of Tomsk region visited Maiskoye oilfield of Imperial Energy Group of companies

On July 14th a delegation, headed by V. Kress - the Governor of Tomsk region – visited Maiskoye oilfield. The visit was a part of scheduled tour around Tomsk region oilfields. The main purpose of this visit for the governor was to check the readiness of oil companies to utilization of associated petroleum gas by development of small-scale energy generation in the oilfields. The delegation also included V. Yemeshev - Deputy Governor of Tomsk region for Fuel & Energy Complex, S. Bogachyov – Head of Department of Subsoil Use and Development of Petroleum Complex, V. Pronin – Head of Power Engineering Department of Tomsk regional Administration, V. Komarov – Head of Subsoil use Administration of Tomsk region, A. Zhdanov – Head of “Alexandrovskiy rayon” municipality, A. Karlov – Head of “Parabel rayon” municipality.

The delegation was greeted by the management of Imperial Energy Group of companies, headed by A. Varma – the Chief Executive Officer and I. Goncharov - the General Director of LLC Nord Imperial.

During the visit the delegation members visited the following facilities: Pad #1 of South Maiskoye oilfield, and production facilities of Maiskoye oilfield: SDW landfill, 35/6 transformer substation construction site, field camp, gas piston power station, OTF (control room and chemical laboratory). Then Mr. Varma and Mr. Goncharov made a presentation for the governor on Maiskoye oilfield development and answered the questions of delegation members.

The participants of the meeting agreed to jointly elaborate proposals to the Federal government on reduction of administrative and tax burden for small-scale subsoil users that own licenses for oilfields with hard to recover reserves.

According to tradition the visit ended with a formal dinner, and the delegation members received corporate gifts from Imperial Energy.
