Saving children’s lives.
On March 23rd a celebration devoted to 5th anniversary of the Charity fund named after Alyona Petrova took place in the Folks Art Hall “Avangard”. The Fund was established by Elena Petrova whose daughter died of blood cancer. It helps children that suffer from the same malady, brain tumours and general oncological pathology.
Over five years the Fund has raised over 25 million roubles, directed at treatment of little kids, support of their families, establishment of “Alyonka” rehabilitation centre and assistance to the haematology unit of the Regional clinical hospital. The guests of the anniversary celebration were the “fosterlings” of the Fund and their parents, representatives of regional and municipal authorities as well as heads of companies and firms that have become partners and good friends of the Fund. Our company was among those. Last year we participated in equipping the Alyonka rehabilitation centre with toys, good audio system and healthy natural juice. On behalf of Imperial Energy, Mr. Ashok Varma (CEO) and Mr. Sanjeev Kakran (Chief Advisor for HR, Contracts and Legal) extended their warm congratulations on the anniversary. As a gift for the anniversary our company bought window blinds and colourful bed linen for paediatric wards of haematology unit of the Regional clinical hospital, amounting to 40 000 roubles. We are sure that our modest contribution will also serve a good cause – saving children’s lives.
