Independence day celebrations at Imperial Energy
August 15th marks India’s Independence Day, and is one the most significant dates in the calendar of this country. It was on this day that India’s Independence from Britain was proclaimed after more than two centuries of colonial rule. On August 15, 1947, Jawaharlal Nehru, the first prime minister of the country, raised the tricolor flag of the Independent India for the first time, thus signifying the beginning of the new stage in history of this ancient country.
On August 15th, a solemn celebration of India’s Independence Day took place in the main office of Imperial Energy Group when the National anthem was sung. It has become a heart-warming tradition to celebrate this Day in our Group, in which citizens of India are employed. Employees who attended this function were explained about the importance of this day in the history of India. The event concluded with a tea party to mark this festive and joyous occasion.
